Day#2: Your Hour of Power

Just how important is the very first hour of your day? It turns out it’s more important than you think. Most success people have things they do in the 1st hour of their day. We cannot overstate the fact that a major difference between successful people and other is on how they use their time. More importantly what they do in those times.

Success or achievement is a science, it is based on certain fundamental principles that can be learnt and applied by everyone.

One of the most effective advises to starting your day is from motivational speaker and coach Anthony Robbins. The techniques taught by Robbins are quite simple and you can see significant results once you start applying them.

Robbins suggests setting up an “Hour of Power,” “30 Minutes to Thrive,” or at least “Fifteen Minutes to Fulfillment.” Part of it involves light exercise, part of it involves motivational incantations, but the most accessible piece involves 10 minutes of thinking of everything you’re grateful for: in yourself, among your family and friends, in your career, and the like. After that, visualize “everything you want in your life as if you had it today.”
